Amman Airport  Amman ( L, D) Meet and assisted at Queen Alia International Airport by our representative, after visa formalities, Transfer to your hotel in Amman, check-in and overnight

Itinerary: Amman – Ajloun – Jerash – Amman (B, L, D)

  • Breakfast: At the hotel

 

  • Morning: Drive north to visit Ajloun Castle (Qal’at Ajloun), a historic fortress in Jordan’s Ajloun Governorate. Built in the 12th century, it served as a defensive stronghold against Crusader attacks. The castle showcases impressive Islamic military architecture and offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Visitors can explore its corridors, chambers, and exhibits, making Ajloun Castle a captivating destination that reflects Jordan’s rich history and offers a unique blend of cultural and natural experiences.

 

  • Afternoon: Continue to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. The well-preserved ruins were hidden for centuries in the sand before excavations started in 1925. Wander along the spectacular Forum, paved and colonnaded streets, the Nymphaeum, theatres, and the Temple of Artemis.

 

  • Evening: Return transfer to your hotel in Amman.

Morning: Visit the Desert Castles, built between the 7th and 8th centuries:

Qasr Kharana: Known for its imposing structure of thick walls.

Azraq Castle Afternoon:  Return to Amman and explore the bustling capital of Jordan. Despite being mentioned in the Bible as Rabbat Ammon, the city is modern with only a few ancient attractions:

Rainbow Street: Located in Jabal Amman, known for its early 20th-century houses, cafés, and restaurants.

Souq: Stroll along the vibrant market with various shops and stalls.

Roman Theatre: A 2nd-century theatre with 6,000 seats.

Archaeological Museum

Citadel Hill: Remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period.

Evening: Return to your hotel in Amman.

Itinerary: Amman – Mt. Nebo – Madaba – Kerak Castle – Petra (B, L, D)

  • Morning:
  • Visit Mt. Nebo, where according to the Bible, Moses was granted the view of the Promised Land.
  • Short ride to Madaba, known as the “City of Mosaics.” See the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land at St. George’s Church.
  • Continue to the remains of the Crusader Castle, Kerak. 
  • Afternoon: Drive 2 hours to your hotel in Petra.
  • Check in and enjoy a leisurely evening.

Itinerary: Petra Visit – Wadi Rum (B, L, D)

Breakfast: At the hotel

Morning: Visit the unique city of Petra, built by the Nabataean Arabs who carved monumental tombs, palaces, temples, and treasures from the desert sandstone, in shades of pink and gold.

Enter through the impressive narrow gorge (Siq) leading to the Treasury.

Continue to the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, the Cardo, temples, churches, and museums.

Petra is a wonder of the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Jordan’s most precious treasure. Carved into the rock face by the Nabataeans over 2,000 years ago, Petra is Jordan’s biggest tourist attraction.

Afternoon: Transfer to Wadi Rum, Jordan’s vast and echoing desert, for a 2-hour 4x4 ride.

Wadi Rum is stunning in its natural beauty and is known for its connection with British officer T.E. Lawrence, who was based here during the Great Arab Revolt of 1917-18. Much of David Lean's film Lawrence of Arabia was shot in Wadi Rum.

Evening: Transfer to your camp in Wadi Rum for dinner and overnight stay.

Wadi Rum Dead Sea (B, L, D) After breakfast, drive 45 minutes to Aqaba at the Red Sea.

This is the only Jordan town with access to the sea and you spend here a leisurely afternoon at your hotel or explore Aqaba independently. check-in at your hotel and overnight
