Morning: Touch down at Paro Airport, located in western Bhutan. As you exit customs, look for our company representative who will be waiting outside. They'll be your first point of contact in this beautiful Himalayan kingdom.
Afternoon: Embark on a scenic 1.5-hour drive towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Watch the stunning landscape unfold before you as you travel through the picturesque western Bhutan.
Evening: Arrive in Thimphu and check into your hotel (Hotel Druk, 4-star accommodation). Take some time to freshen up and relax after your journey. If time permits, you may take a leisurely stroll around the hotel to get a first glimpse of the capital city.

Morning: After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the Buddha Dordenma statue, locally known as Buddha point. At 169 feet, it's the largest Buddha statue in the country. Enjoy the great view of Thimphu valley from this vantage point.
Next, visit Simply Bhutan Museum where a professional guide will escort you. Learn about Bhutan's traditions and culture, including life histories of ancient times, cultural songs and dances, and traditional games.
Afternoon: After lunch (not included in the package), visit The Institute for Zorig Chusum, commonly known as the Painting School. Here, students undergo a six-year training course in Bhutan's 13 traditional arts and crafts.
Continue to The National Folk Heritage Museum, which houses a rich collection of household objects and artifacts from rural Bhutanese life.
Evening: Visit the Textile Museum to learn about Bhutan's rich weaving traditions. Then, head to the Takin Preserve to see Bhutan's national animal, the takin, an extremely rare member of the goat family.
End your day at the Craft Bazaar, where artisans and craftsmen from across the country sell their products.

Morning: After breakfast, embark on a drive to Punakha via Dochula pass. About an hour's drive from Thimphu will bring you to this pass (3140 m) where you can enjoy a superb view of the Eastern Himalayas on a clear day.
Visit the beautiful 108 chortens built on the hill by Her Majesty Ashi Dorji Wangmo. Also explore the Druk Wangyel Temple, built to honor His Majesty, the fourth king Jigme Singye Wangchuck.
Afternoon: After lunch, walk through the Metshina Village and take a 20-minute stroll through rice fields to reach Chhimi Lhakhang, the Divine Madman's Monastery, famous for its fertility shrine.
Evening: Drive to Punakha, the old capital of Bhutan and currently the winter residence of the central monk body. Visit the Punakha Dzong, impressively located on the island of the Pho-Chu (male) river and the Mo-chu (female) river.

Morning: After breakfast, drive to Paro City. Your first stop will be the National Museum, housed in the Ta Dzong (watchtower). Explore its fascinating collection of art, relics, religious thangkha paintings, postage stamps, coins and handicrafts.
Afternoon: Visit Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong), known as the 'fortress of a heap of jewels'. Walk up the paved stone path and cross the traditional cantilever bridge for a photo opportunity.
Evening: Explore some of the picturesque farm houses that dot the valley. A visit to a farm house will give you an interesting glimpse into the lifestyle of a farming family in Bhutan.

Morning: After an early breakfast, begin your hike to Taktsang Goemba Temple, popularly known as 'Tiger's Nest' Monastery. The hike to the viewpoint takes about 2 hours. Enjoy the spectacular view of the monastery clinging to the side of the cliff.
Afternoon: Continue your hike to the monastery (about 1.5 hours from the viewpoint). Explore this sacred site where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated in the 8th century.
Have lunch at the cafe near the viewpoint.
Evening: On your way back to Paro, visit Kichu temple, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan built in the 7th century. Experience the peace and tranquility of this ancient site.
