Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Umiam

Morning: Arrive at Guwahati Airport, where the group will be warmly welcomed by our team dressed in traditional attire.

After the welcome, enjoy some light refreshments and breakfast.

Late Morning: Transfer to Umiam (around 2-3 hours drive), and arrive by the afternoon.

Check into your resort at Umiam (subject to availability; otherwise, accommodation will be provided in Shillong).

Afternoon: After lunch, head to Umiam Lake for a relaxing time with boating activities. Enjoy the scenic beauty and serenity of the lake.

Evening: Return to the resort. Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying a group get-together and taking a refreshing walk near the Umiam Lake Viewpoint.

Day 2: Umiam to Mawlynnong and Dawki River Tour

Morning: After breakfast, check out from the resort in Umiam and start your day with a scenic drive towards Mawlynnong—renowned as Asia's cleanest village.

Late Morning: Explore the village, known for its cleanliness and charming atmosphere. Visit the Living Root Bridge (Single), a natural marvel formed by the intertwining roots of rubber trees.

Afternoon: After lunch, head to Dawki to witness the stunning Umngot River, famous for its crystal-clear waters that make boats appear as if they’re floating on air.

Visit the nearby Biphop Falls to enjoy the serene and picturesque waterfall.

Evening: Return to the resort in Mawlynnong, check in, and unwind for the night.

Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by a peaceful overnight stay in Mawlynnong.

Day 3: Mawlynnong to Cherrapunji (Sohra) & Shillong

Morning: After breakfast, check out from the resort in Mawlynnong and proceed towards Cherrapunji (Sohra)—known as the wettest place on Earth.

Morning Sightseeing:

Start with a stop at the Mawkdok View Point for breathtaking panoramic views of the valley.

Visit Wah Kaba Falls, a scenic waterfall cascading from the hills.

Afternoon: After lunch, continue exploring Cherrapunji:

Visit the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India.

Explore the fascinating Mawsmai Cave, known for its limestone formations.

Stop by Seven Sisters Falls, a spectacular waterfall with seven distinct segments.

Visit Elephant Falls, a popular three-tier waterfall.

Conclude with a visit to the Air Force Museum, showcasing historical aircraft and memorabilia.

Evening: Drive back to Shillong and check in at the hotel. In your free time, visit the lively Police Bazaar for shopping and local experiences.

Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Shillong.

Note: If accommodation is available in Cherrapunji, the stay will be arranged there for a more immersive experience in the wettest region.

Day 4: Shillong to Kaziranga

Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Shillong and begin your journey towards Kaziranga.

En route:

Stop at the Don Bosco Museum, one of the largest museums in Asia, which offers a deep insight into the rich culture and heritage of Northeast India.

Visit the impressive Maha Mritunjay Mandir, home to Asia’s tallest statue of Lord Shiva.

Afternoon: After lunch, continue the drive towards Kaziranga.

Stop at the Rhino Viewpoint, where you can spot the famous one-horned rhinos and Asiatic wild buffaloes in their natural habitat.

Evening: Arrive in Kaziranga and check in to your hotel or resort. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore the surroundings of Kaziranga at your own pace.

Dinner: Enjoy dinner at the hotel or resort, followed by an overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 5: Elephant Safari, Kaziranga Orchid Park & Jeep Safari

Early Morning: Begin your day with an exciting Elephant Safari at the Bagori Range (Western Range) of Kaziranga National Park. Our vehicle will pick you up and drop you at the safari starting point. Experience the thrill of spotting one-horned rhinos, wild buffaloes, and other wildlife up close during the safari.

Note: Advance booking for the Elephant Safari is mandatory and is non-refundable/non-cancellable.

Morning: After the safari, return to the hotel to freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast.

Late Morning: Visit the Kaziranga Orchid Park, a popular attraction known for preserving rare species of orchids, flowers, and plants. Explore the beautiful flora and learn about the rich biodiversity of the region.

Afternoon: After lunch, prepare for the Jeep Safari in the Kohora Range (Central Range) of Kaziranga National Park. The jeep will pick you up from the resort, offering a broader view of the park's wildlife and diverse ecosystems.

Evening: Return to the hotel and take some time to relax and refresh.

7 PM: Attend a vibrant Cultural Show at Kaziranga Orchid Park. Enjoy traditional dances such as the Tea Garden Jhumur Dance, the famous Bihu Dance, and the Karbi Bamboo Dance, which showcase Assam’s rich cultural heritage.

Dinner: End the day with dinner at the hotel or resort, followed by an overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 6: Transfer to Guwahati & Sightseeing

Morning: After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kaziranga and proceed directly to Guwahati.

Afternoon: Arrive in Guwahati by afternoon and check in to your hotel.

After lunch, get ready to explore:

Ropeway Ride: Experience the Ropeway over the Brahmaputra River, offering stunning aerial views of the river and the city.

Sunset Cruise: Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River aboard the Alfresco Grand. Relax and take in the beautiful sunset as you glide along the river.

Evening: Return to Guwahati and have some free time for shopping at Fancy Bazaar, a bustling market known for its variety of local goods and souvenirs.

Dinner: Enjoy dinner at the hotel or a nearby restaurant.

Day 7: Guwahati Sightseeing and Departure

Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Maa Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered Hindu temples dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. Spend some time exploring the temple and its surroundings.

Late Morning: Return to the hotel to freshen up.

Lunch: Enjoy lunch at the hotel or a nearby restaurant.

Afternoon: Check out from the hotel and visit the Balaji Temple.

Evening: After your visit, transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.
